Today’s message on Pilgrim’s Progress concerns Lazarus’s death. Walking with Jesus takes us through many breathtaking places, which enable Jesus to change our hearts. He binds our wounds and draws us closer through suffering, not by getting what we think we want.
Now let me just preface this by saying when we walk in Jesus’ love, when we walk in a knowledge that we are loved by Jesus, the loss that we experience in our lives draws us closer to him. It doesn’t drag us down into depression and despair and hopelessness. We experience loss in this life to draw us closer to Jesus.
