The pivotal point on which the spiritual power of God turns is our willingness to lie in the dust in apparent failure. Like Esther, who said, “If I perish, I perish,” we succeed with God when we commit to obey Him even if it means we die. Jesus called this “pruning” and promised we would bear fruit.
