Pastor Ray continues with the temptations of Jesus, as these same temptations are simply repackaged to us to see if we’ll “bite” upon them. The call to “go for your dream” is one of the most powerful seductions from Satan. The call is to serve Jesus not your desires or dreams.
That lie to “go for it” is something we’re tempted because it salves our pride to be somebody important. Have you bitten upon this temptation or “enticement to sin.” Pastor Ray further illustrates this using a story from the Old Testament. We must come through in victory as Jesus did and he’s provided a means for our escape.
