Scriptures Used During Today’s Broadcast: 1 Samuel 15, 1 Samuel 16
God extended His wing to two men, King Saul and the soon to be King David. Saul rejected the call to be under the wing of God and wanted to be his own boss while David served Saul at the call of the Lord. We see the results of their choices, one died after leaving a witches table and the other one became a man after God’s own heart and became the King of Israel and Judah.
This same call has been given to you and I and we must decide whether we’ll be under the wing of God, something that is possible only if we fully give ourselves to the true King of Kings and Lord of Lords. It’s not your life anymore if you’ve given yourself into the hands of Jesus and this requires a continuous denial of self and submission to Jesus.
If we choose to go our own way, know that you will be given “a spirit of distress” of some sort from the Lord (that’s from the Berean Study BIble). What will you do dear one?

as much as in obedience to His voice?
Behold, obedience is better than sacrifice,
and attentiveness is better than the fat of rams.
23For rebellion is like the sin of divination,
and arrogance is like the wickedness of idolatry.
Because you have rejected the word of the LORD,
He has rejected you as king.”
