In today’s broadcast, Pastor Ray walks us through the story in Genesis 22 where God asks Abraham to sacrifice his son, the son of promise. This was a most difficult test but Abraham quickly obeyed. It didn’t include a lot of false sentimentality prevalent in much of today’s church. Do you know what God wants you to put on that altar?
The story is not about a false sentiment but a dogged obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ, regardless of what may ensue out of our obedience. God will prepare a similar situation to see if you all obey His word, even though you may or may not lose the precious thing in your life. There’s much to learn from today’s broadcast.
