Ravenhill quote

Travailing – Leonard Ravenhill

Are you willing to pay the price so that the love of God could be shed abroad in your heart because you've been crucified with Christ?

Scriptures used during today’s message: Galatians 2:20, Ezekiel 37:36, 2 Cor. 5, Philippians 3:7,

In today’s encore sermon, Leonard Ravenhill a revivalist and evangelist of old talks about our great need of travailing. He goes through a number of scriptures with the primary one being a familiar one in Galatians. The key to Paul’s ministry was that he was crucified with Christ but was driven by the agape love of God to lay down his life for others. This is something we must emulate if we are to have Christ’s will accomplished in our lives.

…where did he (Paul) get his incredible courage, his unshakable faith and his unfailing love? I believe he explains it all in this amazing epistle.

I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me
