In America, many ways will lead us away from the heart of Jesus. The scriptures teach that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Is that evidenced in your life? Jesus is not the way to success or to be somebody. If that’s your motivation, Jesus will uncover it and you’ll have to deal with it or you won’t stay on the path when it gets difficult.
You really need to stop and consider for a moment, where does my life flow from? Does my life flow from anyone, anything other than Jesus himself? Then you’re not on the right path. Your life doesn’t flow from the paycheck. Americans think that.
