Jacob and Esau were separated not by an arbitrary choice of God, but by their responses to the word of God and the Holy Spirit. While Esau despised his birthright, and therefore the blessing of God, Jacob was willing to suffer so that God’s promised blessing would be fulfilled in his life. Today, God is still looking for men and women who will make this commitment, however immature they may be. If you’re suffering today in the will of God, be encouraged that God WILL bring a verdict in your case. Jesus will not leave you, and you WILL be released and enter the promises.
