We must choose the path of the flesh, represented today by the self-indulgent Eli versus the sold-out one to Jesus, Samuel, who will you decide to be?

Scriptures Used During Today’s Broadcast: 1 Samuel 1

Today’s cautionary tale is about Eli. He walked in the presence of God but knew little about His ways. He focused on what he wanted, not what God wanted from His life. Eli’s heart grew distant and hard and he did not confront the wickedness of his sons.

Eli’s life is contrasted with that of Samuel, who learned the voice of God at an early age and was totally given to Jesus. Where is your heart today, are you an Eli or a Samuel?
