A Doorway Of Fire

Scriptures Used During Today’s Broadcast: Daniel 3:16-28,

Today’s broadcast begins with Pastor Ray detailing the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and their great deliverance through the fire. These three worthies walked through a physical fire, and Jesus met them in the fire. They could have worshipped the idol made for King Nebuchadnezzar but refused. There are other types of fires we walk through as followers of Jesus, but these fires are marked by waiting on God, obeying the prompting of the Holy Spirit, and trusting in Jesus to keep His word.

Are you in the midst of a fire today? If so, will you trust Jesus to open the way for you as you submit and obey? In our culture, we’ve been taught to avoid pain at all costs, but the call of Jesus is to trust and obey Him. (His burden is easy and His yoke is light.) There’s no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey. Amen!
