Samuel Brengle describes where the Holy Spirit brought him to a utter crisis, where God utterly broke Him and filled him with the love of God. In our modern culture, we’ve worshiped self-love and haven’t seen its uncleanness. The Holy Spirit quickened this scripture from 1 John. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
