You Do Not Know Who You Are Dealing With

We’ve overly intellectualized the Gospel message in our culture and have missed the message and not allowed Jesus to deal with the heart issues. That will remove a healthy fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom and create a heart that is largely unaware or unconscious of its true condition.

Pastor Ray lays this out in the scriptures using 1 John Chapter 4 and makes it even clearer with a story from the book Remarkable Miracles by G.C. Bevington. Do you know where your heart is with Jesus (i.e. have you been born from above? and if so have you been sanctified?) It’s this pursuit of intellectual information which clouds the unfolding by the Holy Spirit of our true condition. Will you seek after Jesus and you are entirely sanctified, as was this dear one in Bevington’s book today?
