Will you pray? The first baby step of following Jesus is really the only step in the entire Christian life. It is simply doing what Jesus tells you to do. Once you make this commitment, you’re in a place to offer the prayer of faith. God has pledged himself to always answer the prayer of faith provided we meet the conditions. From our end, we must have evidence in order to pray in faith. Pastor Ray lays out the first two of five types of evidence identified by Charles Finney: specific and general promises of God as found in the Bible.
God says, “When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him” (Isaiah 59:19). Are you a Christian committed to do what Jesus tells you to do? If so, you have the right and the privilege to offer this prayer for America. It is God’s will to step into America today and lift up a standard of righteousness over this country. Will you pray?
