Will You, or Will You Not, Follow Jesus?

At Evans’ Mills, Charles Finney confronted the congregation in this manner: “You admit that what I preach is the Gospel. You profess to believe it. Now, do you intend to receive it or reject it?” We are asking you this same question. You have listened to Pilgrim’s Progress day by day. You believe you are a Christian. You admit that God requires you to renounce all sin and to walk clean and holy before him. But have you presently met the conditions of salvation? If you haven’t, will you determine to make your peace with God TODAY?
