A True Friend of God

There are three kinds of Christians. First, the true friend of God. Second, quid-pro-quo (i.e., “this for that”) followers motivated by selfishness or self interests. Third, those moved by the opinions of others and social demands.

A true friend of God sides with Jesus against his own sin. His whole heart wants to honor Jesus. He experiences compassion for all men and deep concern for sinners and their salvation. This drives a spirit of prayer. His concern is so great that he must pray. This true friend of God has made a conscious choice to leave forever the current of the world and to enter the current of the Holy Spirit. Are you a true blue friend of Jesus?
