Scriptures Used During Today’s Broadcast: Romans 7, Genesis 4
Pastor Ray begins today’s broadcast in Romans 7, followed by Genesis 4. The law of evil is compared to the law of righteousness. We must decide whether we will be under the law of evil or the law of righteousness. We must overcome it by meeting the conditions and by fully yielding to the lamb of deliverance (i.e. Jesus), not by our own strength or wisdom.
It’s not possible to be under the law of evil and the law of righteousness at the same time. We need the lamb of deliverance in order to be an overcomer, lest we simply be a religionist with no power to overcome the wickedness of our hearts. Listen to the life of Cain and the trajectory of his life because he thouoght he could deliver himself, resulting in his starting over time after time and ultimately leaving the presence of God for good. That was his choice, not God’s choice.
