Scriptures Used During Today’s Broadcast: Book of Job, Hebrews 5:7-8
Find out the key to walking with Jesus, in this old powerful sermon on the life of Job. In our modern Laodicean church culture, none of us measure up to our dear Brother Job but we can learn much from his life. What can we glean from this story that applies to us? In a nutshell, it’s simply this, God takes each true follower of His all the way to the bottom so that we can empirically discover that none is God, except God alone.
If you’ve made a covenant to follow Jesus all the way to the bottom, He WILL take you there but you must cooperate by giving up your will. Remember that the works of the flesh count for nothing (See John 6:63). In a word, this Christian pilgrimage is about submission to Jesus.
