Stop Spending Your Money

Scriptures Used During Today’s Broadcast: Psalm 91, Luke ?, Romans 8,

Today’s message is a polemic against rampant consumerism and the love of money because it contradicts Psalm 91. Money is the god of America and has been the dwelling place of many who call themselves Christians. Jesus is going to change that soon but for us to be in Psalm 91 for real, not in a make-believe sort of way, we must give up our love of money. This diversion from the devil blocks many from real repentance and a seeking after of Jesus, has it infected you?

The Lord knows that he cannot minister to his people or to his church, until he has confronted this great idol that rules over America. And that is money. And so he’s going to take the money. He’s going to crash the credit cards. He’s going to make it so that we no longer can go on our cruises. We can no longer run off to this or that exciting place. He wants us to stop. To stop spending our money.
