We were not meant to be separate from Jesus. We were meant to have intimate fellowship with Him. And Christmas reminds us that we don’t have that intimate fellowship with Him. But it makes us eagerly look forward to His coming and to weep at the delay.

If you want to be a true follower of Jesus you’re going to have to give up the notion that you’re going to have a normal life. A normal American life is not the life in the Holy Spirit.
