The title of today’s broadcast is from Hebrews 2. Suffering is a necessary ingredient in maturing as a Christian. In our culture, we’ve been taught to believe that suffering must be avoided at all costs. That’s not true, we all must suffer to be made perfect (which means complete or mature, not legalistic perfection).
Have you embraced the suffering that Jesus has brought into your life? It’s through suffering we become one with God.
Therefore, since Christ suffered in His body, arm yourselves with the same resolve, because anyone who has suffered in his body is done with sin.
