Is The Lord With You?

Scriptures Used During Today’s Broadcast: Genesis 39, Psalm 23:5,

Pastor Ray begins today’s broadcast by asking the question is the Lord with you? In order words, do you have God’s smile, i.e. his favor, in your life? As you’ll find out if you don’t know already, the favor of God shines upon a man or woman of God who is fully given to Him so that even pagans can discern it. Is that favor upon you or are you still walking in sin or worshiping your idols?

We see this worked out in Joseph’s life and we can also learn from how he dealt with temptation, something we will have to face as satan and his minions attempt to sidetrack us. We never play with temptation, we flee from it, it’s a volitional fleeing from wickedness.

The Lord will be with you if you will make decisions to serve the Lord and the Lord only. Pastor Ray during today’s message

Finally, Pastor Ray lays out how we get out of the prison (like Joseph was in) and into where he has called us to be. The potter will not stop until we’re fully shaped into the image of Jesus.

So today I come to you, I share this story of Joseph because even though he was not conformed to the image of Christ in its fullness, the Lord was still blessing him and approving of him because he knew his heart. He wasn’t complaining. There had to be a finished work in his heart in order to serve in the capacity that Jesus had chosen for him.
