The glory of a mother is that she never gives up on her kids. Likewise, God will not give up on His church. He predestined a holy people. But, this election is corporate–not individual. Like the children of Israel, we can be called “brethren,” yet reject in unbelief the promises of God for our lives.
Have you let God birth you, as a new, holy creature, into his elect church? If so, have you continued in obedience to him? In so doing, do you walk in tenderness and love?
