As we repent and fully die out (assuming we're willing to die out), there comes a point in time where God himself will deliver us out of the desert as God delivered Elijah.

When we come to Christ earnestly and are crucified with Christ and born from above, one of God’s ways is to take us to a desert place where it oftentimes appears from our vantage point that we will be utterly destroyed. As God rescues and delivers us, His faith begins to rise in our hearts and we trust Him regardless of the mountain we see. As we repent and fully die out (assuming we’re willing to die out), there comes a point in time where God himself will deliver us out of the desert as God delivered Elijah.
