Scriptures Used in Today’s Broadcast: Luke 12:16-29
Pastor Ray preached this message about putting our trust in Jesus and not in what we can accumulate. We are called to be “rich toward God.” Find out what that means as you listen along. Have you given everything into the hands of Jesus? This walk is about giving ourselves to Jesus and then trusting Him, regardless of the circumstances and those difficult places along the way.
Much of this walk with Jesus is about exercising full trust in Him, regardless of the circumstances, and a refusal to walk in the flesh (i.e., in our understanding, our wisdom, our resources).
I’m inviting you tonight to step into a relationship with Lord Jesus Christ, where you don’t walk in fear, where you know that the Lord has been pleased to give you the kingdom, where you don’t clutch or hold on to what you have. Instead, you meet the needs that are necessary. You provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. So essentially tonight, I’m really saying to you, where’s your heart? Your heart is either going to be in your barn, or it’s going to be in the kingdom of God.
