The Lord Is My Shepard

Scriptures Used During Today’s Broadcast: Psalm 23, John 10:11-16, Philippians 4:19, 1 Peter 2:24-25

The primary question we need to ask ourselves is who our shepherd is. This is not an intellectual answer in any sense but is something in reality. We find out who my shepherd is when faced with an impossible situation: is Jesus your shepherd or are you or someone else your shepherd? What do you do you when you can’t pay your bills as a great many face this challenge now, is Jesus your provider or are you your provider?

As we face this question honestly before God, there will likely be great tears but please don’t blow by this sermon, Jesus wants to become your shepherd in every situation, will you let Him be your shepherd?

“You’re not going to be able to depend on your ability to be your own shepherd. Jesus is going to have to be your shepherd. Is he your good shepherd? Is Jesus your good shepherd? He said he was. Now is he? Is he in reality your good shepherd? And are you allowing him to refresh your soul?
