Scripture(s) used in today’s broadcast: Micah 7:7-10, Luke 15:22-31,

On today’s broadcast, Pastor Ray begins with a reading from Micah. The focus today is on the second Prodigal son, the eldest son. He was a prodigal in a different sense and Pastor Ray opens this up for us during this very important message.

The eldest son acted as though the father was stealing from him and that was reflected in his poor attitude, his defensiveness and anger. As Pastor Ray said repeatedly during today’s message “The way up is the way down.” The journey down is about keeping our eyes upon Jesus and His faithfulness. Have you allowed yourself to become old and crusty because you didn’t get what you thought you deserved?
