Do you have eyes to see that this judgment has been pronounced against us for our wickedness? The key takeaway from the story is to hear a direct word from the Lord as to what He wants from our lives and then to obey it at all costs. The second takeaway is don’t argue with God, as Lot did, He knows everything about us, including our motives. The other primary question is what do you really want? God will normally give us what we desire most.
