Scriptures Used During Today’s Message: Matthew 7, Luke 6

The question today is straightforward: where is the foundation of our life? Is it built upon Jesus or is it built upon the sand? We can see from Matthew 7 that a firm foundation is not built on doing things for Jesus, but rather is a full giving of ourselves into His mighty hands. Make your foundation on the rock!

Now it’s plain that the foundation that is here spoken of, this foundation that is laid on the rock, is a foundation of obedience to Jesus. The only way you can build a foundation is by doing what he prompts you to do in his spirit.
