Some years ago at the National Prayer Chapel, a dear brother had a vision of a great flood flowing through the earth sweeping away scores of people and we immediately recognized this as sin, at the end of the age. The wages of sin are always death but Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. The question is whether you will let Him do that incredible work in your heart. That will require much repentance, much waiting upon God, and a desire to have Jesus above anything else.
