The gospel of innocence delivers from sin now. It is simple, though painful. When asked, “Lord, are there few that be saved?” Jesus replied, “You must be straining every nerve to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able” (Luke 13:24, Lavender’s New Testament).
Do you cling to a sinning Christian gospel? If so, you’re likely dodging the crucifixion pain of divorcing sin and the devil. We cannot take our sin through the narrow gate. Are you innocent with God today because of the gospel that you believe? If not, will you get right with Jesus now–before your window of opportunity closes?
