In this broadcast, Pastor Ray provides empirical evidence that God’s judgment is upon us and yet there’s still a widespread normalcy bias in much of America. The normalcy bias says we can judge the future according to how things have been in the past. So this would imply that things will always stay the way they’ve been somehow, it’s such a deceptive lie. The natural inclination of the heart is toward comfort, even a false comfort. It’s time this false comfort be utterly removed and we face the stark reality of America. This normalcy bias is all throughout the scriptures, particularly when God’s judgment was imminent.
“Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we believed. The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.…
