Lay Down Your Self Interests

Has your walk with Jesus been stymied by all of your self interests? Are you willing to fully surrender everything into the hands of Jesus? Do you see the folly of holding onto your life?

One of the biggest blocks in this walk with Jesus is dealing with our self-interests. We do that by bringing these things to Jesus, and leaving them with Him. We must side with Jesus against our self-interests if we’re ever to be of service to Him. Many will want to follow Jesus but will not be able to do so because of an unwillingness to lay these things down.

Jesus demands our submission, yet we must continually choose to lay everything into His mighty hands. Are you stuck in your walk with the Lord because of all of your self-interests? Isn’t it time to give everything to Him?
