Don’t Make God Angry – (2009 Sermon)

Have you made God angry through gossiping about a brother or sister or a family member and if so will you repent of this wickedness before leprosy breaks out in your life?

Scriptures Used During Today’s Broadcast: Numbers 12, Numbers 11, James 3

One of the lies that all of us in the West must overcome is this sentimental view of God. Pastor David Wilkerson called this “a cotton candy Jesus” in many of his sermons. It’s a life devoid of the fear of God. This mistaken belief negates the deep conviction from the Holy Spirit that we need to go deeper in Jesus. Jesus is not out to condemn us as Christians, but He will bring the necessary conviction and wrath to accomplish His purpose for our lives.

In today’s message, Pastor Ray uncovers one of the deep-rooted lies that we’ve believed, which is gossip against another. You can make God very angry with you if you’re gossiping about another, and if you fail to deal with your sin, the consequences will be severe. God takes gossip very seriously, as you’ll see in today’s message.

When God uncovers our sin, His expectation is that we deal with it, all the way to the bottom.
