How do we know if we’re saved? Is this based on some sentimental feeling and a little rote prayer? Pastor Ray goes after uncovering the “fallacy of the sinning Christian,” as our dear brother Malcolm Lavender proclaimed. We’re delivered from our sin and free to sin no more.
Sin is dealt with by crucifixion and we’re given the freedom to walk in the power of the Spirit, victorious. Is this some legalistic perfectionism? No, if you’re saved from sin you’re under the Holy Spirit not a set of man-made rules. In this crucifixion, we’re given the power to walk holy before God.
