This message by Jackie Pullinger is the simplest, clearest, and most attainable explanation of the gospel that we've ever heard. Any Christian who has tasted of God's kindness can in turn give that kindness to others. Like a waterwheel, our Christian life replenishes as we pour out for others.
Today, thousands of children under the age of five are dying daily without water and without a Savior. But, there is enough water, food, and God's love for everyone on the planet. So how does it get from one place to another? Very simply, through kindness and compassion. We are saved in order to be kind (Ephesians 2). The needs of others are met as individual Christians share food, water, clothing, and prayers with those in need.
Everyone has a health, family, or work problem, and most want prayer. This provides a wonderful opportunity for Jesus to introduce himself to the lost. Our responsibility is simply to be kind to others, give, and always be ready to be pray. As we preach the gospel this way, Jesus will, from time to time, bring miracles.
