What happens when you read the New Testament and compare it to modern American Christianity? The New Testament Church preached, healed, raised the dead, met daily, and walked in holiness. The church loved and feared God too much to sin against him. On the other hand, the modern American church meets on Sunday, leaves the preaching to the pastor, and rarely heals. Few professing Christians have victory over sin, and American morality is disintegrating. This sharp discrepancy is an elephant in the church.
In particular, the elephant is our lack of holiness and power. Do you say you believe in Jesus, and then make excuses for why God won't heal you or won't save the lost? From the Gospel of Matthew, Pastor Ray and Alexandra show that we're to literally “walk as Jesus walked”–in righteousness and in power to win the lost, with signs and wonders following the spoken gospel!
