After Lazarus died, Jesus said that he was glad he hadn’t been there. Why? So that the disciples might believe. But what were they to believe? And what are we to believe, in order to be saved?
Picking up on this introduction by Pastor Ray, Alexandra goes on to show that we are to believe the entire Bible. Moreover, belief always involves action. To believe something is to act on it. Alexandra then hones in on several specific commands and promises. For example, we are to believe that God heals. We’re to believe that Jesus will blot us out of the book of life if we sin. And we’re to believe that God will hold us responsible if we don’t warn the wicked to stop sinning.
Do your actions show that you believe the Scriptures?
