Out with the Old, in with the New

Out with the Old, in with the New

When we meet Jesus, we don't simply put off the old–we put on the new. This new person, in “the image of God,” exercises bowels of compassion for others: whether they are black, white, male, female, American, or an immigrant.

When we get this view of God's religion, we are freed from man-made religion which says, “Don't eat this,” or, “Don't wear that,” while remaining powerless to free us from sin and put love in our hearts for others.

If you've met Jesus and know that he loves you, then will you let yourself be free to express Christ's compassion for others?
