An urgent special report from China details the increase in persecution over the past 18 months. Persecution against the church in China in the past 18 months is as bad or worse than the persecution under Mao in the 1960s and 1970s. All indications show that this will be a long, sustained persecution–not just a temporary surge.
Now, not only the house churches, but the government-registered churches are targeted. The paramilitary recently blew up and demolished the building for the largest government church in the country (50,000 members). Because of the constant surveillance through facial recognition cameras, house churches have broken into small groups of 4 or 5 believers. The government blocks Bible apps, Christian websites, and the distribution of Bibles. Moreover, over 100,000 people are in concentration camps.
Please pray with us for the church in China! And share this report with your church, Bible study or prayer group, and other devoted believers who will pray. May the Lord send revival in China!
